why do we go to church and pray to someone that we have never seen before never talked to and never did anything good.people say that a man named god made the heavens and the earth other people say that mankind created everything around us if there was a god then he would come down to his planet every year to greet the people of the land but since there was a movie and books god and jesus are more popular then anything else in this world even man made things.but like all other books and movies that have people we never seen before in real life are just made by other people just to become famous are known for something so also the person who wrote the bible 1,000,000 years ago must of wrote it for a little night time story or just for a good book to be reed to past time so my answer no i dont beleave in god,jesus or heaven but if you have anything to say leave a comment below.

people go to church because they believe there is a god that will listen to them and help them (this partains to all religions). they also go there to understand their god and how to be with them in the after life (basically the most cut-down version of going to heaven). movies are made to tell the stories of the bible. books are written to pursuade people to a religion by helping them understand it. imagine it like a sermon but in reading form. gods don't come down from hevan for whatever reason, whether it was their choice or the religion was false. I can't discuss that part of the topic any more because thar's all i know. lastly, the bible is not a "little nighttime story" or any "good book". practically all religions havethier own bible to live by that tells of the histroy of their god, the requrements to be with that god, and any other rules for that religion. muslims, for example, are told to take ou their enemies in violence while christians are taught to bring people to god peacefully. so bibles aren't like any other book, written by some guy, they are history, and the most essential part of any religion because it places the rules that are required of the followers. i hope I've helped you understand religion and its purpose. please consider my reply to be neutral, i'm just5 trying to help you understand the concept better.

Some people believe and do these things because they're sentient beings like you and me and have their own logic to bring them to different conclusions.
What makes sense to you, may not make sense to someone else.
The whole religion thing is opinionated anyway, you can't really get facts since many of these sources are a bit too specific or otherwise vague so that we can't really find them scientifically. Yet it doesn't matter, it's a thought process, you can't make a conclusion on an opinion, some people believe a God or gods is/are real but it's hard to get facts so most just do what feels 'right'.
You're opinionated yourself, many stories weren't just "little tales for the kids" but were written by people who actually "witnessed" these things. The legitimacy, bias, degree of exaggeration are all debatable of course but it's rare for a series of stories to be a life-style. Quran, Buddhist texts, New Testament, majority of the Old Testament, and many more were written by those who saw the characters from these documents first-hand. Wanna say it was fake? Fine, no one is going to tell you how to think. Like-wise you shouldn't judge others on how they think as well, just because it's different and you don't understand.

Go educate yourself before you start smack talking a subject you may not totally understand~
the whole world and each country have their own god but what if the "end' comes we all are left to die in a world full of war and crime while our god who we think will save us latter in the future looks down on us. and i dont think there is a heaven becouse when we all die we die we our dust dont just fly up to the sky and comes back down to make us look like a diffrent person.
